ANIMAL (BUTTERFLY)

MATERIAL

Valentine colored pieces of construction paper

Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

TIME

Under 1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to   

            Cute 2 heart shapes approximately 3” high and 2” wide.

Cut 2 hearts of a different color approximately 2” high and 1” wide.

Cut 8 hearts of various colors 1” high and ½” wide.

Glue 6 of smallest hearts together to form the body.

Add facial details to end heart.

To form 2 wings

Center and glue medium size heart onto largest heart.

Center and glue smallest heart onto center of medium size heart.
