Valentine's Day Crafts

Animal (Butterfly)

• Valentine colored pieces of construction paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Cut 2 heart shapes approximately 3” high and 2” wide.
2. Cut 2 hearts of a different color approximately 2” high and 1” wide.
3. Cut 8 hearts of various colors 1” high and ½” wide.
4. Glue 6 of smallest hearts together to form the body.
5. Add facial details to end heart.
6. To form 2 wings
   • Center and glue medium size heart onto largest heart.
   • Center and glue smallest heart onto center of medium size heart.
