Back to School Crafts:
HANGING COLLAGECollages are a great way to display various types of information or content. MATERIALS Light colored sheet of construction paper Xerox paper Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil Glue Hole punch Twine/Yarn/Ribbon Scissors Ruler TIME 1 - 2 hours PROCEDURE Instruct students to Fold sheet of construction paper in half to form a 12" by 4 ½ " rectangle. Cut into 2 sections and share with a classmate. Make four fold lines 1 - ¾” wide to serve as a glue tab 3 - 3 ¾” wide to serve as information sections. Write name in one section. Write information on Xerox paper about self and paste in 1 section. Draw a picture/scene on Xerox paper about self and glue to 3rd section. Attach together with glue. Make a hole in the center top of each section Tie a 12" length through the holes. Knot 3 ends together and hang.
