Halloween Crafts

Black Cat

• Sheet of black construction paper
• Scraps of colored construction paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Fold black sheet of construction paper in half to form 2 – 9” by 6” rectangles.
2. Cut along fold line and give 2nd rectangle to a classmate.
3. Fold rectangle in half to create 2 rectangles 6” by 4 ½ “. Use one for the body and the other for body parts.
4. Cut varying size triangles for the head, ears, nose, eyes tail and feet.
5. Attach.
6. Add thin strips for whiskers.
