MATERIALS

Sheet of black construction paper.

Scraps of colored construction paper

Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

TIME

Under 1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

Fold black sheet of construction paper in half to form 2 – 9” by 6” rectangles.

Cut along fold line and give 2nd rectangle to a classmate.

Fold rectangle in half to create 2 rectangles 6” by 4 ½ “.  Use one for the body and the other for body parts.

Cut varying size triangles for the head, ears, nose, eyes tail and feet.

Attach.

Add thin strips for whiskers.
