Mask (Full Face)

Materials

• Construction paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil colors/Pencil
• 6” – 8” circle pattern
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Approximately 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Draw a circle in the center of the construction paper large enough to cover face.
2. Cut out.
3. Decorate with construction paper geometric shapes such as triangles, circles, crescent shape, and ovals to form facial features.

   Cat Face:

   Triangles for ears, nose, and mouth, circles for eyes, crescent shape for eyebrows, narrow rectangles for whiskers, etc.

   Indian Face:

   Narrow rectangular shapes for war paint, ovals for eyes, feather shapes for headband, etc.

4. Attach string to ties mask in face.
