Mask (1/2 Face)

• Construction paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue
• Yarn/string/ribbon

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Fold construction paper in half to form 2 – 9” by 6” sections.
2. Share ½ with classmate.
3. Instruct students to fold construction paper in half to form a 4 ½ “ by 6” section.
4. Starting against the 4 ½” fold line, draw a shape using most of the paper away from the fold.
5. Cut this shape out.
6. Cut out an eyehole or other designs while the paper is still folded.
7. Unfold and decorate.
8. Attach string for ties.
