White sheet of construction paper

Twine/Yarn/Ribbon

Packing peanut

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

Cut a 9” diameter circle from white construction paper.

Cut holes out for the eyes.

Glue on bit of white packing peanut for the nose.

Cut at least 6 black narrow strips from construction paper for the whiskers.

Curl 1 end.

Make a mouth.

Attach 2 small rectangles for the teeth.

Add 2 oval pieces of white construction paper approximately 6” long for the ears.

Color insides pink.

Attach 2 lengths approximately 12” long to tie around the head.
