Christmas Lacy Objects

• Xerox paper
• Circle templates with a 8” to 10” diameter
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Twine/yarn/ribbons

Time

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Draw and cut out circle with 8 ‘template.
2. Fold the circle in half to form a half circle.
3. Fold paper in half again to form a cone.
4. Fold cone in half again to make a smaller cone.
5. Sketch half of an angel/tree/snowman/etc. along the single fold line.
6. Add other designs along the edges of the cone.
7. Cut out the designs.
8. Open.
9. Glue to background paper.
10. Add details to form a scene.
