Circle Bird
Materials
- Sheet of construction paper of a bird color
- Scraps of white and black construction paper
- Circle templates
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
- Yarn/String/Ribbon
Time
Under 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold construction paper in half 2 times to form 4 - 6" by 4 ½ " rectangles.
- Trace and cut 3 same size circles from construction paper.
- Glue 2 together to form head and body.
- Cut the 3rd on a zigzag line down the center for the wings.
- Attach to body.
- Cut 2 small white circle for the eyes and attach to the face circle.
- Cut a white triangle for the beak and attach to the face circle.
- Add rectangle legs.
- Attach string and hang.
