Easter Card
Materials- Yellow construction paper
- Scraps of brow or orange construction paper
- Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Time
Under 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Trace and cut 2 hands on the yellow paper to serve as the chick’s wings.
- Cut an oval or egg shape out of the yellow paper about 3x larger than hands to be in scale with the wings.
- Attach wings onto the oval body.
- Cut diamond shape beak from the orange/brown construction paper.
- Bend it in the middle and attach to the bottom half of the chick’s body.
- Add black circle for eyes.
- Cut 2 legs with 3 pointy toes from the orange/brown construction paper for the feet.
- Attach legs to the backside of the chick.
- Add a message on its body.
