Family Tree

• Blue sheet of construction paper
• Scraps of green and brown
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Approximately 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Draw a large tree with many branches out of brown construction paper.
2. Glue to blue construction paper.
3. Cut out enough leaves to represent each person in his/her family from the green construction paper large enough to write name on it.
4. (Siblings, parents, grandparents and possible great grandparents)
5. Write the name of each family member a leaf.
6. Glue the leaves to the tree in this order from bottom to top, grandparents, parents, siblings.
