HANDPRINT (VALENTINE CARD)

MATERIALS

Sheet of Valentine colored construction paper

Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

TIME

Approximately 1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

            Fold construction paper in half to form a 9” by 6” rectangle.

Place pinkie along the fold edge.

Trace outline of hand.

Cut out shape without cutting through the fold.

Open.

Glue red and white hearts in the fold of the hand.

Write appropriate Valentine saying in center.

Decorate with colors and scraps of construction paper.
