Handprint Valentine Card
Materials- Sheet of Valentine colored construction paper
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Time
Approximately 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold construction paper in half to form a 9” by 6” rectangle.
- Place pinkie along the fold edge.
- Trace outline of hand.
- Cut out shape without cutting through the fold.
- Open.
- Glue red and white hearts in the fold of the hand.
- Write appropriate Valentine saying in center.
- Decorate with colors and scraps of construction paper.
