Hanging Basket

• Sheet of white construction paper
• Scraps of red, pink and lavender construction paper
• Red/White twine/yarn/ribbon
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Approximately 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Fold white construction paper in half.
2. Cut 2 circles.
3. Cut various size hearts/flowers.
4. Decorate the backs of the 2 white circles.
5. Fold circles in half.
6. Glue edges of one inside the other to form a basket.
7. Punch holes at top of folds.
8. Thread approximately 24”coordinating twine/ribbon/yarn through holes making a bow.

Tips

• Use reverse colors.
• Make larger circles.
