HANGING BASKET

MATERIALS

Sheet of white construction paper

Scraps of red, pink and lavender construction paper

Red/White twine/yarn/ribbon

Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

TIME

Approximately 1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

            Fold white construction paper in half.

Cut 2 circles.

Cut various size hearts/flowers.

Decorate the backs of the 2 white circles.

Fold circles in half.

Glue edges of one inside the other to form a basket.

Punch holes at top of folds.

Thread approximately 24”coordinating twine/ribbon/yarn through holes making a bow.

TIP

Use reverse colors.

Make larger circles.
