Valentine's Day Crafts
Hanging Basket
Materials- Sheet of white construction paper
- Scraps of red, pink and lavender construction paper
- Red/White twine/yarn/ribbon
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Time
Approximately 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold white construction paper in half.
- Cut 2 circles.
- Cut various size hearts/flowers.
- Decorate the backs of the 2 white circles.
- Fold circles in half.
- Glue edges of one inside the other to form a basket.
- Punch holes at top of folds.
- Thread approximately 24”coordinating twine/ribbon/yarn through holes making a bow.
Tips
- Use reverse colors.
- Make larger circles.
