Halloween Crafts

Hanging Spider

• Sheet of black construction paper
• White and red scraps
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue
• Twine/Yarn/Ribbon

Time

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Draw a black circle with an approximately 9” diameter.
2. Cut a slit from the outside of the circle to the center.
3. Overlap cut edges and glue to form a cone.
4. Cut 6 equal size strips of black construction paper. (1” by 8”)
5. Accordion pleat each strip of paper.
6. Glue to the bottom of the cone edge.
7. Add facial features with scraps and markers.
8. Attach desired length and hang.
