Procedure
Instruct students to:

Cut
- 2- 1” by 12” strips
- 2- 1” by 9 ½” strips.
- Arrange in this order: 9 ½, 12, 12, and 9 ½, with one set of ends even.
- Attach this end.
- Bend the unattached ends into a heart shape, so a small heart lies inside a larger heart.
- Align the ends.
- Staple together.
- Attach twine and hang.
