Valentine's Day Crafts

Hearts Lacy

• 1/4 sheet of red construction paper
• 1/4 sheet of white Xerox paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Under 1 Hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Fold the papers in half.
2. Draw a heart shape from the fold from each sheet of paper.
3. Draw the white heart smaller than the red heart.
4. Cut each heart shape out.
5. With white heart still folded, make snips and cuts along the fold side of the heart as if making a snowflake.
6. Fold the heart in half again and make snips and cuts along the second fold.
7. Open lacy heart and glue it to the larger red heart.
8. Add additional decorations if desired.
