Hearts Lacy
Materials- 1/4 sheet of red construction paper
- 1/4 sheet of white Xerox paper
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Time
Under 1 Hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold the papers in half.
- Draw a heart shape from the fold from each sheet of paper.
- Draw the white heart smaller than the red heart.
- Cut each heart shape out.
- With white heart still folded, make snips and cuts along the fold side of the heart as if making a snowflake.
- Fold the heart in half again and make snips and cuts along the second fold.
- Open lacy heart and glue it to the larger red heart.
- Add additional decorations if desired.
