May Day Baskets
Materials- Construction paper
- Construction paper scraps
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue/Staples
- Hole punch
- Twine/Yarn/Ribbon
Time
Under 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Draw and cut out a circle with a 9” diameter from the sheet of construction paper.
- Decorate one side of the circle using coloring, construction paper, etc.
- Curl the paper plate into a cone shape.
- Glue/tape in place.
- Hole punch two holes in the top of the container opposite each other
- Attach a length so you can hang the basket on the door handle.
- Fill with handmade flowers from art/craft projects.
