Back to School Crafts:

MATERIALS

6 sheets of construction paper

Ruler

Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Tape

TIME

1-2 hours

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

Tape construction paper together to make one long piece about 6’ long.

Turn over and draw a tree from the bottom to the top of the construction paper.

Make the trunk long.

Place ruler along 1 side and mark the tree in inches and feet.

Write name on the top of the tree.

Punch a hole from the top center.

Put a length through hole and tie.

Hang.

Have someone put a mark on the tree where the top of student's head touches.

Put the date, age, and weight next to the mark on the tree.
