Thanksgiving Crafts

Mini-Boats (Packing Peanuts)

Materials

• Packing peanuts
• Bread twist/toothpick
• Scrap white paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Cut a white strip of paper ˝ “by 1" to form the mast.
2. Insert bread twist through one edge and out the other edge to form the mast.
3. Insert into center of the packing peanut.
4. Decorate mast and packing peanut before assembly.
