Sheet of construction paper

Xerox paper

Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

Under 1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

Fold the Xerox paper in half. (4 ¼ “ by 5 ½ “)

Write name in script about 1” high and two finger's-widths from the fold. Choose one end to be the critter’s head or antenna.

Cut in from the fold, along the top of name and down to the other end of the fold.

Unfold your critter.

            Decorate it.

            Attach to construction paper. (6” by 9”)
