Name Plates
Materials- Sheet of construction paper (half light and half dark)
- Scraps
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Stencils
- Scissors
- Glue
Time
Under 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold and cut sheet of construction paper lengthwise. (4 ˝’ by 12”)
- Exchange half with a classmate.
- Write name either free handed or using stencils on 1 strip.
- Trim around the length of name in a wavy or zigzag pattern.
- Decorate with items that reflect student’s interest.
- Glue to other strip.
