Owl
Materials- Sheet of black/brown construction paper
- Scraps of orange/yellow construction paper
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
- Twine/yarn/ribbon
Time
Under 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Draw 3 equal size circles from construction paper.
- Fold 1 circle 1/3 of the way down to form head.
- Cut facial features and glue in place. (Circles for eyes, triangle for beak)
- Cut 2nd circle in half to form 2 wings.
- Feather curved edge by cutting slits approximately 1” from edge to center.
- Glue head to the top edge of the 3rd circle.
- Glue wings to side of 3rd circle with feathered edge to the inside.
- Display by hanging or attaching to a surface.
