Pop-up Card (Christmas)
Materials- Sheet of construction paper
- Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Time
1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold construction paper in half to form a 9” by 6” rectangle.
- Cut in half and exchange with another classmate.
- Fold traded half in half.
- Draw seasonal object along and away from the fold line.
- Draw a tab out from the outside edge of the shape.
- Cut out.
- Unfold.
- Fold 1st half in half.
- Score along fold line carefully with the blunt end of the scissors.
- Center seasonal object along card fold line.
- Glue tabs to the inside of the cards.
