POP-UP CARD (CHRISTMAS)

Sheet of construction paper

Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

TIME

1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

Fold construction paper in half to form a 9” by 6” rectangle.

Cut in half and exchange with another classmate.

Fold traded half in half.

Draw seasonal object along and away from the fold line.

Draw a tab out from the outside edge of the shape.

Cut out.

Unfold.

Fold 1^st half in half.

Score along fold line carefully with the blunt end of the scissors.

Center seasonal object along card fold line.

Glue tabs to the inside of the cards.
