Valentine's Day Crafts

Pop-Up Cards

Substitute any seasonal object in place of the Valentine.

Materials

• Sheet of construction paper
• Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors

Time

Under 1 Hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Cut around solid outside line.
2. Fold card in half lengthwise with fold pointing toward you. (X - Y)
3. Crease.
4. Then open.
5. Fold along line 1 to B.
6. Crease, then open.
7. Fold along line 2 to B.
8. Crease, then open
9. Fold in half widthwise away from the heart and keep folded. (Line Z)
10. Fold side x to side y tucking in heart along its fold lines.
