POP UP CARDS (VALENTINE)

Substitute any seasonal object in place of the Valentine.

MATERIALS

Sheet of construction paper

Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

TIME

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to use the diagram below.

Cut around solid outside line.

Fold card in half lengthwise with fold pointing toward you. (X - Y)

Crease.

Then open.

Fold along line 1 to B.

Crease, then open.

Fold along line 2 to B.

Crease, then open

Fold in half widthwise away from the heart and keep folded. (Line Z)

Fold side x to side y tucking in heart along its fold lines.
