• Construction paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue
• Ruler

Under 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Cut
   • 2- 1” by 12” strips
   • 2- 1” by 10 ½ “ strips
   • 1- 1” by 9” strip.
2. Arrange in this order: 12, 10 ½, 9, 10 ½, and 12, with one set of ends even.
3. Attach even ends.
4. Make a crease 1-inch from the unstapled ends of the 12- and 10 ½ strips.
5. Align the ends of all the strips and attach together.
6. Attach string and hang.

Tips

Punch holes in 2 different colored strips in intervals, and glue together
