Tee Pee
Materials- Sheet of brown construction paper
- Scissors
- Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Glue
Time
Under 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Fold construction paper in half to form a 6" by 9" rectangle.
- Cut in two and share with classmate.
- Fold in half to form a 4 ˝ “by 6" rectangle.
- Fold in half 2 more times in the direction of the arrow to form a point.
- Cut straight across the bottom about 4 1/2" from the point.
- Open and crease the fold line in one direction.
- Draw Native American designs and symbols.
- Glue together.
- Cut a triangle shaped flap for the door
