Sheet of brown construction paper

Scissors

Markers/Crayon/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Glue

TIME

Under 1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

            Fold construction paper in half to form a 6" by 9" rectangle.

            Cut in two and share with classmate.

            Fold in half to form a 4 ˝ “by 6" rectangle.

            Fold in half 2 more times in the direction of the arrow to form a point.

Cut straight across the bottom about 4 1/2" from the point.

            Open and crease the fold line in one direction.

            Draw Native American designs and symbols.

Glue together.

Cut a triangle shaped flap for the door.
