Thanksgiving Crafts

Thankful Tree

Materials

• Construction paper (orange, red, yellow, brown, and other earth tones)
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue

Time

Approximately 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Trace hand on different colors of construction paper for the leaves.
2. Cut out handprints.
3. Cut out a tree trunk from brown approximately 3” by 6”.
4. Write what each is thankful for on each of the handprints.
5. Attach handprint leaves to the tree.
