Winter Wreath

• Sheet of blue construction paper
• 2 sheets of white construction paper
• Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Glue
• Twine/Yarn/Ribbon

Time

Approximately 1 hour

Procedure

Instruct students to:

1. Make a snowflake out of sheet of white construction paper.
2. Fold sheet of white and blue construction in half lengthwise to form 2 rectangles 4 ½ “ by 12.”
3. Cut into 1” by 4 ½” strips.
4. Glue together to form circles.
5. Create a pattern using the blue and white.
6. Glue along the outside edge of the snowflake leaving about ½ “ space along the edge.
7. Glue a 2nd ring of circles along the outside edge of the 1st circle.
8. Attach length and hang.
