Winter Wreath
Materials- Sheet of blue construction paper
- 2 sheets of white construction paper
- Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Glue
- Twine/Yarn/Ribbon
Time
Approximately 1 hour
Procedure
Instruct students to:
- Make a snowflake out of sheet of white construction paper.
- Fold sheet of white and blue construction in half lengthwise to form 2 rectangles 4 ½ “ by 12.”
- Cut into 1” by 4 ½” strips.
- Glue together to form circles.
- Create a pattern using the blue and white.
- Glue along the outside edge of the snowflake leaving about ½ “ space along the edge.
- Glue a 2nd ring of circles along the outside edge of the 1st circle.
- Attach length and hang.
