MATERIALS

Sheet of brown construction paper (Any color is acceptable) or large paper bag

Construction paper scraps

Scraps of material/yarn/ribbon

Markers/Crayons/Pencil Colors/Pencil

Scissors

Glue

TIME

1 hour

PROCEDURE

Instruct students to

            Fold construction paper in half to form 2 4 ½” by 12” strips.

            Cut in half.

            Glue ends together to form a 4 ½” by 24” strip.

            Repeat.

            Carefully twist 2 strips together to form a rope.

            Glue 2 ends together to form a wreath.

            Decorate.
